23,6x23,6 in ~ Peinture, Acrylique
This work takes up several usual themes of the Artist such as duality, transformation and reflection on the meaning of life.
The artist declines here the representation of flowers which are often used to express feelings of love, peace, freedom and also as a symbol of a peaceful message. A face is drawn on the petals of a flower in the shape of a heart dissociated into two hemispheres, one with stretched shapes as if by an acceleration, a change of state and the other part more tranquil.
In this semi-abstract composition, we find elements including pink and yellow flowers that echo a previous creation by Artist Wabyanko.
The face seems to be looking at the petals of another yellow flower with more abstract shapes, which suggest the shape of a hand. This hand symbolizes the possibility of seizing the memories of the past or of capturing one's destiny.
Petals float in the air, we do not know if they fly away or will recompose the flower.
The spectator can interpret this creation as a reflection on the meaning of life, on the past, the present and the future, a message to imagine a life with a society with peaceful and mature values.
